Neil Walker

Neil Walker

Chair
Neil co-founded TradingHub in 2010 and formed the Board the same year. Neil spent eighteen years in the banking industry as a trader at Chase Manhattan Bank, Bear Stearns and Merrill Lynch.  Neil has extensive experience in negotiating credit derivatives documentation, designing and implementing trade systems. Neil graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Physics.

Mike Coats

Mike Coats

Mike joined TradingHub as Chief Technology Officer in 2012 and joined the Board in 2021. Mike started his career at Merrill Lynch, designing and building trading systems for the growing credit derivative business before moving to the front office as a credit derivatives trader.​ Mike subsequently joined Dresdner Bank and then Commerzbank, working in derivatives. Mike Graduated from Cambridge University in 2003 with a degree in Engineering.

Elaine Thomas

Elaine Thomas

Elaine joined TradingHub in 2021 as Chief Operating Officer and joined the Board in 2023. Elaine has extensive HR experience, holding senior global HR roles at Refinitiv, Thomson Reuters and Merrill Lynch. Prior to joining TradingHub, Elaine was Chief Human Resources Officer at Santander UK. Elaine has worked in London, Hong Kong, Singapore and New York.​ Elaine graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1995 with a degree in Commerce and German.​

Anthony Clavell

Anthony joined the Board in 2023.  Antony is Managing Director at Summit Partners and joined in 2013. Anthony focuses primarily on the technology sector in Europe, with an emphasis on software. His investment and board experience includes Calypso Technology (acquired by Thoma Bravo), Darktrace (LSE: DARK), Immersive Labs, LearnUpon, Odoo, RELEX Solutions, Siteimprove (acquired by Nordic Capital), TradingHub and Syncron. Prior to Summit, Antony worked for Allen & Company, where he advised U.S. and European technology entrepreneurs on M&A and raising capital. He was also active in the firm’s investments.
Antony is a member of the Advisory Panel of the Future Fifty, a U.K. government initiative to identify and support promising high-growth companies in the U.K. He is a Swiss national and speaks English and Italian.
Antony holds a B.A. in mathematics from Oxford University with first-class honours and an S.M. in computer science from Harvard University.

Our Board Subcommittees

Information Security Committee (ISC)

The ISC ensures the continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness of TradingHub’s information security policies, standards and processes. The ISC has the delegated authority of the Board.

Business Continuity Planning Committee (BCPC)

The BCPC is to consider and approve business continuity and disaster recovery planning policies, standards and processes. The committee will also discuss any BCP risks or changes within the business. The BCPC has the delegated authority of the Board.
