The Role

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic, individual with a proven track record to lead and manage the Sales Engineering team and help propel the continued sales of our products & development. You will form a bridge between our client-facing organisation (Sales, Account Management) and the engineering teams with the goal to facilitate growth and continued improvements for the product. All in the best interest of our clients and potential clients. You will also drive the growth of the product with a close working relationship with the Sales and Marketing team.

Responsibilities
  • Product Sales
    • Manage and lead the Sales engineering team
    • Work closely with new Direct Sales and Account Management teams and senior management
    • Develop strategic plans to help scale and grow the business
    • Assist with the sales opportunities/process from a technical standpoint
    • Providing pre-sales & post sales technical support
    • Solving/assisting with sales and client roadblocks
    • Help to develop new product roll out strategies
    • Assist the account managers with client success
    • Work with Documentation/Marketing teams to create and maintain product information and messaging
    • Partner with Client-facing teams, Engineering teams, and Senior Management to coordinate and drive planning and execution in the following areas:
      • Review and prioritisation of client requested enhancements
      • Identify gaps in product features for future development
      • Identify potential new products for future development
      • Identify potential product partners
    • Building strategic plans with internal stakeholders to achieve market capture
Essential Skills/Competencies
  • Deep understanding of financial services businesses (sellside / buyside)
  • Financial markets understanding
  • Demonstrable experience of leading strategic product delivery
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communications skills (written and verbal) and an ability to synthesize complex ideas
  • Superior organisational skills, self-starter, ability to perform under pressure
  • Ability to work to sales targets and KPI’s
  • Team player with an ability to build internal relationships and coordinate between potentially conflicting priorities
